The park, officially opened in May 2008, is a beautiful addition to our community and was designed as a multi-use facility that compliments and expands upon the original Terranova West clubhouse, pool, tennis court, and park common grounds, the purpose being to enhance our quality of life and property values for years to come!
The park is managed by the Terranova West Municipal Utility District. As with all Texas Utility District parks, it's use is restricted to resident property owners within the Terranova West Municipal Utility District and their invited guests. The Terranova West Municipal Utility District comprises Terranova West, Oaks of Terranova West, Terravista, and the new Villa Nova development.
The property is gated and posted as "Private Property". We ask everyone's help in keeping non-residents from using and abusing our park and clubhouse facilities. The gate code will be periodically changed. Notice of change will be posted in advance on this website and in the Whispering Pines newsletter.
Park hours are 5am to 10pm. The trail and parking lot is lit dusk to 10pm and 5am to at sunrise.
Expenses related to maintaining the park are budgeted by the Terranova West Municipal Utility District, not the Terranova West Property Owners Association.
Park facilities include a .5 mi walking/jogging trail and exercise stations, soccer field, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, softball/baseball field, picnic tables, and BBQ pits.
GENERAL PARK INFORMATION
There are two drinking fountains within the park. One is located along the walking/jogging trail south of the softball/baseball field and the other is located inside the entrance gate to the soccer field.
Trash cans have been placed throughout the park. Please place your trash in the cans provided!
POSTED PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS
Signs were erected on Monday November 17, 2008. The Rules and Regulations are as follows,
1.) This park is restricted to the exclusivwe use of the residents of Terranova West MUD.
2.) No unauthorized motor vehicles.
3.) No alchoholic beverages or glass containers.
4.) All pets must be on a leash. Clean up after your pet.
5.) No overnight camping.
6.) No fundraising or for profit avtivities on park property.
7.) No firearms, hunting, fireworks, or excessive noise.
8.) Keep your park clean.
9.) No fires, except in grills. Clean the grill when done.
10.) No bicycles on jogging trail.
11.) No unattended children under the age of 12.
12.) park is open between 5am and 10pm.
13.) For law enforcement call Precinct 4 Constable's office at 281.376.3472.
PET INFORMATION
All pets are required by law to be on a leash and under the control of the owner. In addition, you are required to carry a litter bag and pick up after your pet! Please be considerate of your neighbors and our children when walking your pet in the park. A "Dogipot" pet station can be found on the walking/jogging trail near the T C Jester entrance to the park. The station includes litter pick up bags and a lined trash can. Failure to keep your pet on a leash and pick up after your pet may result in violators being banned from the park or all pets being banned from the park.
NOTE! Please respect your neighbors and their children, the soccer field is NOT to be used as a "Dog Park". All pets are required by law to be on a leash and under the control of the owner. In addition, you are required to carry a litter bag and pick up after your pet!
