Hazardous Waste

Harris County now has its own permanent Household Hazardous Waste disposal facility located at 290 and Gessner that is open to all Harris County residents that live in the un-incorporated areas. This facility is run by Cheryl Burton-Fentress, and she is the best person to contact for anything related to HHW. Cheryl has been involved in and around this industry for many years and is considered an expert in the field.

Open Wednesday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and the second Saturday of the month 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Please call in advance if there is a holiday around those dates as the facility may be closed to the public.
